FLOTG – For Love Of The Game
Someone reminded me of that today, I was thinking far away from the box and he called me on it. I’m glad he did. These things happen and there isn’t a thing you can do but there is something you shouldn’t do and that’s take it out on the game.
We Ironpig fans know what it’s like to support a poor performing team. The Noise Nation was founded by creating fun and excitement even in the worst of baseball circumstances. As the dawn of a new season approaches quickly, there will be changes to the field, to the team and even within Noise Nation.. but none of this is the game’s fault. The game is solid, it is constant. At Coca Cola Park fans of all ages, of all backgrounds come together and have this in common. We love baseball.
The next time I see something happening I dont like, I hope I won’t need to be reminded again. All that we do, the Noise Nation and perhaps you too, is… For Love of the Game.
21 days…

I love the typo in this sentence from the Ironpigs website regarding the AAA game on Wednesday:
“Brandon Pinckney and Brain Bocock each knocked in a run as well.”
I bet Pinckney & the Brain would make a great doubleplay combination! NARF#@%
FLOTG is one of my favorite baseball movies. It gets into the mindset of a ballplayer like no other. “Clear the mechanism”.
That is a great movie.. I recall moments before he “Clears the mechanism,” a fan with a horn sends off a blast before the crowd goes silent to him.
So I just have one question for you, “Gee Brain, what are we going to tonight?”
“Same thing we do every night Pinky. Try to take over the world!”
Hmmm, I wonder if clearing the mechanism would work for visiting team centerfielders at CCP?
