The Phillies have moved Melvin Dorta from Reading to Lehigh Valley’s roster to replace Wilson Valdez who was promoted to Philadelphia to fill in for the injured Jimmy Rollins.
In 17 at bats in Reading this season, Dorta has had 3 hits, 3 runs and 1 stolen base.

Reading was short handed too, so today they brought Keoni De Renne up from Lakewood and also activated Brian Stavisky from the DL.
Did anyone notice that the Reading Phillies defeated Kyle Drabek 7-3 last night? 4 of the 7 runs Drabek allowed were unearned.
Dice K is making his 2nd rehab start today. Looks like start #3 would fall on the 20th vs. Rochester.

Interesting because Reading begins a 7 game roadtrip today while the Ironpigs are at home through the 22nd.
