The Pigs made a great start in the series opener in Buffalo tonight. Suffering through 2 rain delays, the Pigs came on the board early and steadily knocked out 11 hits for 6 runs. Brian Bocock, Dane Sardinha and Chris Duffy all had a multi-hit game. Drew Carpenter went 6 innings allowing 4 hits and 2 runs. Both Zagurski and Mathieson extended their team leads in holds (7) and saves (12) respectively.
Pigs Win 6 to 3.
Waiting on our Buffalo travelers to send photos my way…. π
OINK!

Another good game by Bocock tomorrow and his batting average will be above the Mendoza line.
Mike Cervenak’s batting average dropped to .229 (36-157) after going 0-4, and his onbase percentage is now under .250. I know he’s a free swinger but in nearly 160 at bats he has walked just 1 time.
Carpenter also had an RBI tonight…pictures are uploading now…
