Hmmm, with Thompson away on maternity leave and Mayberry still not ready to play, does that mean they played their Friday game without any bench players other than pitchers? Suomi caught for Reading on Friday so he still wasn’t there. And Andy Tracy seemed to injure himself a little while running to first base in the first inning. If he would have had to come out of the game we probably would have seen Brian Mazone hitting for himself in Tracy’s spot in the batting order.
