Interesting bit of DeWayne Wise news. If you recall, Wise was promoted to Toronto when John McDonald went on bereavement leave. McDonald rejoined the Blue Jays today and the Jays sent Jeremy Reed to AAA and designated Brian Dopirak for assignment. That means Wise remains with Toronto. He’s currently 2-7 .286. He started in left field (hitting leadoff) on June 14th and went 2-5 with 3 strikeouts.
Very interesting. I guess he knew what he was doing.. ?
