Woo Hoo the IronPigs Great Hero of Heroes!
Very awesome pic. Don’t think I’ve seen Andy get that upset but he had a right. I sit right down there and it wasn’t a strike. My Dad and sister and brother-in-law where up in the club level seats and they thought the ball was not a strike! Thought Andy was going to knock down Dave Huppert a couple times when he pushed him out of the way!!
When I got to the game on Thursday or Friday there were scouts sitting in our seats. I talked briefly to the guy sitting in seat #15 before I made him move. He was a scout for the Tampa Bay Rays. I never asked him what his name was but our usher asked me if I saw his World Series ring. Turns out he got the ring because he was with Toronto for part of the 1992 season. He later played for the Phillies, 1999-2001. Here’s his Toronto baseball card:
