It is so sad to see Rich go. He has been an IronPig since the first season. Him and Andy Tracy are Mr. IronPigs!! I am excited to see Domonic Brown though. Hopefully all these moves will help the Pigs become a team that will go from worst to first!!

I thought trading someone for a “bag of balls” went away with unionization and collective bargaining. How can teams basically send a player away for nothin’?
Sellers is playing second base for Reading tonight. Thompson is not in the starting lineup.
Time for my official statement out of the Thompson campaign. I’m shocked!! Also very sorry to see Rich get sent down but I guess something had to be done. Rich has been with the IronPigs since year one and has always played his heart out and being the class guy that he is, he probably took the demotion with class. We’ll miss him. Perhaps we’ll see him up with the Pigs in the future. I guess the shocking thing is that it comes on the heels of the end of All-Star voting and it seemed like there was a chance that Rich would have been named. We can’t control what the Phillies do either. I am happy that we’ll see Dominic Brown and it’s about time. Just want to say thanks to all for the votes for Rich and I want to wish him well. I hope the moves benfits the Pigs.
