The Pigs headed to Louisville early this morning and started the game off with a bang, batting around in the first inning and scoring 5 runs. They tacked on 2 runs in the second and it appears they took a break.
Home runs by both Ozzie Chavez and Andy Tracy (13).
Brown, Mayberry and Chavez all had a 3 hit night!
JA Happ went 5 innings allowing 3 runs on 3 hits.
Zagurski came on in the 7th and gave up a 3 run HR. He doesn’t seem to have the same fire he did before he got called up to the Phillies.
Michael Schwimer came on in what I believe is his Ironpig debut, pitching a scoreless 8th allowing 1 hit.
Then Scott Mathieson gave up a walk off game winning Home run to lose the game.
Pigs lose 7 to 8.

That was Schwimer’s 3rd appearance with the Ironpigs. He threw a scoreless inning on July 8th vs. Syracuse and had a scoreless inning vs. SWB on July 10. He did register his 1st ‘Hold’ with the Ironpigs despite the fact that ‘holds’ are not an official statistic.
This was a painful loss tonight. The error on a potential doubleplay ball in the bottom of the 7th was the killer. Not a good way to start the second half.
