Now that All Star Valley is officially past us.. I have mixed feelings. I am sad to see it end but also a little relieved that we can get back to business as usual here in the Lehigh Valley. I’ve read a bunch of articles and posts about the game last night that point out how the Ironpig’s organization put on a good show last night. I have to agree, but, the Ironpig’s put on a good show every day!

Aside from the Erik Kratz call up to the majors in the middle of the game… we also learned that the Padres selected outfielder Quintin Berry off of waivers and is lost to the Phillies organization. We wish him well and will certainly miss him. A definate casualty of the Phillie’s many injuries/transactions this year.
As for me, I’m taking a break this afternoon. A weekend packed with post All Star game parties will have me ready to wave the white flag on Monday.
