Those two G’s can be summed up in Greg Gross, former Ironpig’s hitting coach and current Phillies hitting coach.
Pure speculation but since GG left the Ironpigs for the Phillies they have won just 3 games and lost 14.
In these 17 games the Pigs have scored 46 runs… Scoring more than 3 runs just three times.
The Phillies, on the other hand, were suffering from an offensive drought when GG arrived and are riding a 14 win 3 loss tidal wave of offense!
We all complain about the coaching situation but these stats are hard to refute.
Greg Gross to replace Dave Huppert as manager in 2011?
See you at the game tonight.
OinK!

While having someone other than Huppert as manager would go along way to helping this team, the actual team itself needs to be addressed.
Guys like Bocock, Hoover, Sardinha, Chavez, Aguila and Sellers are NOT major league caliber players and have no chance at ever helping the Phillies and are nothing more than roster filler.
If the Phils need help due to an injury or whatnot the AAA team is supposed to be where that comes from.
And while it’s true that a lot of Pigs have gone up this year, for the most part they have stunk while there and we all knew they had no chance, aside of Brown, of actually staying.
If the Pigs/Phillies are serious about 2011, they need to revamp this team from top to bottom.
New manager, no 34 year old journeyman players who are just hanging on to collect a paycheck.
If they do that than I will be convinced that the Phils are serious about putting a winning product in Allentown.
Until that time it’s like a giant middle finger being flipped at the season ticket holders.
(After tonight’s game I’m so disgusted that I’ve given away my tickets for the rest of the home stand and am staying home.)
Ha Ha, Kehl
Mandy Housenick “dissed” you!
You outhustled her and she’s pissed.
The open disdain and contempt for bloggers.
Gotta love it.
Well it was first posted by

So I would imagine she is dissing them… not me 🙂
Housenick had every opportunity to toss out the name of the official blog of the #1 fan club of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and be friendly…AND DROPPED THE BALL.
In fact, if anything, as previously stated, the contempt and disdain for blogger is extremely palpable.
I guess if I was in a failing industry desperate for a Federal bailout, I would have disdain for independent, unpaid bloggers driven by passion, too.
Housenick comes off as a professional (hack) writer protecting a paycheck.
Good thing I stopped buying TMC early LAST YEAR after if became apparent the copy space and number of pictures printed per game would NOT be the same as in the 1st year of IronPigs baseball.
I find this incident particularly insulting since you, Kehl, go out of your way to be non-controversial and friendly and out-reaching at all times.
Nice outreach by Housenick, that’s my point.
