A lot of web traffic out there concerning Ironpig manager Dave Huppert’s replacement.
Looks like Ryan Sandberg is getting a lot of attention from the press and is being downplayed by the Phillies management.
Could this be an answer to the question, “How will the Ironpig’s top attendance levels from the past 3 years?”

Friendly advice for Phillies management :
Hire a manager for the IronPigs that has a bit of fire about his belly.
Considering most strategical decisions are handed down from above at the MLB level, the two greatest assets for a AAA manager would be :
A) the ability to teach and hone skills which the players will need to succeed at next level as well as
B) the ability to motivate players so as to have them prepared to run through a brick wall, if necessary.
In my opinon, Huppert evolved into some sort of Casual Observer over the last two years.
I contend it would have helped the IronPigs’ won-loss record if Huppert had gotten himself tossed out of a few more ballgames, political correctness be damned.
Whoops, this is AAA – where winning and losing do not matter and, if I paid attention to Jeff Schuler of The Morning Call, the IronPigs have no natural, intra-state arch-rival just a short drive northward to battle for supremacy.
