No Cervenak at the Coke this summer…guess our Cervenak for Ransom campaign didn’t work so well.

Did you also notice that Scott Nestor was signed by the Dodgers. I know he’s easy for Ironpigs fans to forget but when he was in the Phillies organization he pitched in 2 games for the Ironpigs during the 2009 season. His stats in those 2 games:
W/L: 0-0
Innings Pitched: 1
Hits Allowed: 1
Walks Allowed: 9
Strikeouts: 2
Runs/Earned Runs: 5/5
ERA: 45.00
And I don’t know if I mentioned this one before but the Dodgers also acquired LHP Mike Antonini from the Mets in a trade. Antonini won 2 games for Buffalo in 2010 with both wins coming against the Ironpigs at Coca-Cola Park (August 9 & September 3).
I certainly remember Nestor…too bad he is not a basketball player and ERA is not quite the same as points-per-game.
