From @Pigsradio’s own Matt Provence:
The Phils’ Triple-A squad improved to 2-0 w/ a 7-5 win over the Triple-A Pirates today. Roy Halladay started, but the bats were again story.
1B Matt Rizzotti (2-4, R) & LF Tim Kennelly (2-3, HR, R) paced a 10-hit attack w/ 2 hits & 2 RBI apiece. DH Sebastian Valle (1-2) and SS Troy Hanzawa (1-4, 2B) had an RBI each… Halladay’s line (5 ip, 7 h, 4 r, 3 er, bb, 3 k) wasn’t as pretty as RHP Eddie Bonine’s (3 ip, 4 h, r, er, bb, 3 k). Drew Carpenter — working in relief this season — tossed a 10-pitch, perfect 9th inning for the SV.

wooohooo.. Great job ! Undefeated is undefeated 2-0 π
I pity the de facto Indy Indians after the surprise of seeing Hal out there on the hill.
They can always tell their grandkids they took a few swings against Halladay though.. probably worth it π
So the man from Down Under hit a ball over the outfield fence, eh?
Eddie Bonine? The former Toledo Mud Hen will be on the other side of the fence for the annual Battle of the Barnyard? Riveting.
AF means the good-guy side of the fence for Bonine, we all understand.
