Tonight we received an honor of being named “Best Phillies Blog” by the voters of the Lehigh Valley via the Morning Call’s 2011 mychoicevoice Best Blogs of the Lehigh Valley contest!
Thanks go out to those folks who have supported us all this time, to the person who inspired me to begin this (Sie wissen, wer Sie sind), to the Desk of Decal and all the other contributors and frequent readers over the past year.
Will strive to do my best and as always, I am open to suggestions for improvement.

I was just reading an interesting article about a familiar name when I thought about the blog vote and checked here.
Congrats to all who contribute to this blog and a hearty thank you to those who voted.
Oh, and the article I was reading was a news release dated March 21, 2011. It said the Lancaster Barnstormers of the Independent Atlantic League signed former Ironpigs third baseman Terry Tiffee to a contract for the 2011 season. The Barnstormers play their games in the 6,000 seat Clipper Magazine Stadium at 650 North Prince Street in Lancaster, PA
I feel bad for that left fielder.. he’ll be getting a lot of grounders his way this season 🙂
