It looks like he’s going to be the beat writer for the Ex-Times. Has he done this before? Or, is he being promoted from the high school coverage department? I’m just curious about his qualifications… Someone from Easton or Ex/Times subscriber, please let me know. More ‘Pigs coverage the better. A little competition never hurt anyone (I’m looking at you, Morning Call).

Kram 209, Actually this is my third season doing the IronPigs. The prior two we had two different “beat writers” in Nick Fierro and Brad Wilson. Granted, I still saw like half of the Pigs home games those seasons, but now it’s all me this year.
The past two springs I also covered high school boys/girls lacrosse, but now I’m dedicating all of my time to the Pigs.

New Media Guides are out! It’s nice, spiral bound, like last year. A good value for the hardcore fan at $15. I also picked up a new hat–which I didn’t need, but couldn’t resist–and a yard sign.
About the new menu: Glad they’re trying to keep it fresh. BierGarten is a great idea–wish I’d thought of it! Don’t care much about the three piggies. More non-beer adult beverages just like I asked for. I just ordered an iPhone 4 so that I’ll be able to use the express lane (no kidding; I’m just that crazy). Did I hear something about a Vegan Burger? It wasn’t on the list, but I have some friends who won’t go to games because… anyway, let me know if there’s something available. Finally, the 32 oz draft. Does that come with a driver?

ehh, just saw we get Ronnie Belliard’s corpse. Not thrilled. 5/9 220lbs, 35yo, .136 in spring training? Crimony, that could be me. Except I’m older and skinnier. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. Can someone make me feel better about this?
