Thunderstorms Expected for Tonight’s Game

Fear not though, the gates will most likely open. I went through that a few days ago so I will spare you my “why the gates still open speech.”

Just a reminder to be prepared for severe weather as you drive and arrive at the Park tonight.

Looks like the rain is at 50% chance by 7:00pm, maxing out around 9:00pm at 95% chance and continuing throughout the night.

It could slam us or could give us the chance to get a few innings in early. We will see, but in either case, be prepared.

OinK!

  2. Is Dane Sardinha related to the outfielder for the Tulsa Drillers? The Rockies’ AA affiliate here in Tulsa has a player named Bronson Sardinha.

On another topic, how’s the drillers’ new stadium?

    • Per wikipedia (what don’t they know over there):

“He has two brothers who also play professional baseball. Dane Sardinha plays for the Philadelphia Phillies and Duke Sardinha plays in the Colorado Rockies farm system. Sardinha was named after actor Charles Bronson”
