The temperature should stay in the mid 50’s this evening but showers could impact the game.
Looking at the radar and hourly forecast it looks like we will have a window between 5:00pm and 8:00pm that potentially could get part of the game in on time.
At 8:00pm the chance of rain jumps to 60% (which isn’t a guarantee) and continues at that percent until declining around 1:00am.
This is one of those that could slam us or could keep folks wondering, “Wasn’t it supposed to rain tonight?”
As always, the gates are probably going to open and the game may or may not be played. I will post on my twitter if the game is called @NoiseNation.
See you at the park!
OinK!

As an aside, what’s it going to take for them to start showing the games on MILB.COM. Pretty much every single AAA ballclub streams their games on there, but none of the Phillies affiliate.
Frustrating to say the least.
Service Electric probably thinks that most people who would subscribe to an online deal would be RCN customers, tho I have seen on the MiLB.TV site that some games can/will be blacked out.
As for the weather, it appears to have not been much of a factor, current score (9.26pm) notwithstanding.
I can see your point R.D. about the possible deflection scenario.
I guess the point is, is Ironpig baseball really a”seller” for Service Electric? This happened a few years ago down here in the Philly area with Comcast/Verizon (Comcast refused to offer Comcast Sportsnet on Verizon Fios until a judge basically came in and told them they had to).
It’s their product, and it’s their right to do whatever the heck they want with it, but it’s just frustrating to those of us who 1) Don’t live in a Service Electric area and 2) Don’t live within an hour of the stadium
UNLESS THERE IS A RAINOUT, THE 2m fan will be at the park on Sunday May1–good luck to all
