First off the Noise Nation would like to congratulate our friend Alexis from the Precious Metals Dance team of the Steel Hawks on her making the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleading squad! Way to go!!!
Next, pitcher Brian Gordon was activated from the DL and is returning to the Ironpigs. Back to Reading goes Brummett and also saw via Jeremy Slayden’s Facebook that he is joining the R-Phils while on their road trip. Looking good Jeremy! Hope to see you in the LV soon!
In tonight’s final game of the 5 game home stand, Shoeless Eddie Bonine will face Yankee Kei Igawa. This will be Igawa’s first start of the season, being used as a reliever in 2 game for 6 innings so far this year. He has allowed 3 hits and no runs in 2011.
The weather for tonight will be clear but cold with an expected low of 35 degrees. It may not get that cold through the game but dress appropriately.
See you there!
OinK!

Congratulations also to JimmyT. He looks great. Almost glowing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him that happy. 😉
Really looking forward to tonight. I hope it’s not too cold. Dear friends from Philadelphia are joining me for some tailgating and ‘Pigs revelry. We’ll be sitting in JimmyT’s section tonight if we aren’t wandering around the stadium. Can we get a win? Please?
Last night wasn’t so bad, as 6-0 losses go (How did you enjoy the play, Mrs. Lincoln?). It was boys night out for us, so kids could yell and eat and relax a bit more (you know, Laugh, Cheer, Oink, Pig Out, etc.). Important lesson, too: taunting opposing players not nearly as fun when you’re losing 6-0. Also, youngest got a t-shirt from the launch. Finally, I got my first ever foul ball. My kids were disappointed that I gave it to a kid from the row in front of us, but they’ve gotten balls from other adults previously; it was time to pay it forward.
No question — hard to talk effective trash from an 0-6 hole.
Sadly, free red balloons (which are sometimes blue) are of little assistance in coping with this particular crisis at the Coke.
Yeah, we didn’t even get balloons last night. Or, bubbles. What’s going on here? #jippingthewestentrance
😉
What?!
No Bubbles?!
Impossible!!!
Lex went to my alma mater, Easton High School! 🙂
