I love that the IronPigs are involved with the miracle league. What a great charity! I must say tonight’s jerseys looked like they were sponsored by Mc Donalds with the red and yellow, the heart on the front reminded me of the golden arches.
Love the Miracle League photos. I think my favorite is that little girl riding on somebody’s shoulders. What a cool charity.
I believe that was Cory Sullivan and his daughter.
She’s a doll. She’ll cherish that memory when she grows up.
Do the Pigs have a Flickr account? Iowa does. I think their P.R. people ran it, and they’d post tons of photos of the guys doing charity work. The cutest was when a few of the players helped a local animal shelter with a calendar, and they got all these great pix of the guys playing with a litter of puppies. It was great P.R. and a lot of fun to see.
Just to be clear: this was an event supporting THE MIRACLE LEAGUE OF THE LEHIGH VALLEY!!
One of the SECTV2 guys said Miracle League is building a second ballpark near Northampton. Is this to be run by your group, Kimmi, or another one?
