Catching Switch for the Ironpigs

We can’t yell a Honeymooner’s inspired “NAUGHTON” anymore as the Phillies promoted John Suomi to the Ironpigs and sent Joel Naughton back to Clearwater.

I guess we’ll have to live with “SWO-ME the Money!”

    I can live with Suomi as the #2 catcher as long as it’s not a 50/50 platoon. Let him play day games that follow a night game and other times when Kratz needs a break or when Ryno wants another left-handed bat in the lineup. Once, maybe twice a week. That’s it. Does this team have an emergency #3 catcher?
    And for those who have Service Electric, don’t forget that the Thursday and Friday games vs. the SWB Yankees are being televised on channel 50.

      Friday was originally slated for the 2 itself, but if earlier high school sports rainouts can be made up Friday, guess what… 😛
