From an article on Yahoo Sports website, I saw that the Bryce Harper circus that arrives with the Syracuse Chiefs will also include left hander John Lannan.
As the above story shows, Lannan was sent to Syracuse to make room for Ross Detwiler.
Lannan actually could have been a huge footnote in baseball history but he succeeded in avoiding that fate.

I’d expect we could see Lannan against the IronPigs at some point this season, if not in the upcoming series against the Chiefs.
