Infielder Miguel Cairo signed with the Cincinnatti Reds
2008 Ironpig(briefly) Valentino Pascucci has signed with the New York Mets. There is a good chance Pascucci will return to CCP as a Buffalo Bison.
Former Phillies prospect Greg Golson (Traded for John Mayberry Jr.) has been traded to the New York Yankees. Look for him in a Trenton or Scranton uniform this summer.
The Phillies also re-signed Brian Mazone and signed infielder Luis Maza and outfielder Freddy Guzman.

Don’t know if anyone is watching the Caribbean Series but newly acquired Freddy Guzman just stole home in the bottom of the 7th to give the Dominican Republic a 3-2 lead over Venezuela. Guzman has 3 stolen bases (2nd, 3rd and home) and was thrown out once trying to steal 3rd. This guy may be fun to watch.
He could quite possibly fill the shoes of Jason Ellison last year. Good thoughts for a speedy outfielder.
