The Ironpig’s announced that Nate Bump’s addition to the Disabled list has been retracted. He is currently on the active roster for Lehigh Valley.
Also, Brian Bocock and JA Happ are not yet on the Ironpig’s roster. Not sure what the deal is with Bocock, he was designated for assignment a few days ago. Interesting.
Andy Tracy is not in tonight’s lineup and is expected to miss a few games after being hit on the elbow in last night’s game. Hoping he feels better soon!

I too am wondering about Bocock. Happ was just DFA’s yesterday. But Bocock was DFA’d Saturday, I want to know where he is. I’d really like to see him back with the ‘Pigs.
I just hope Happ being upset about being down with the ‘Pigs doesn’t affect his attitude towards the fans. I don’t want to sound conceited, but the LV fans made him!
With the holiday weekend it’s unclear (to me anyway) what date Bocock was officially designated for assignment (remember the Mathieson weekend paperwork issue). I believe if a player isn’t claimed within 72 hours of being placed on waivers he can then accept an assignment (if offered), in this case back to the Ironpigs. He apparently was designated for assignment instead of being optioned because the Phillies needed to clear a spot on their 40 man roster for Cody Ransom.
It seems like the more I read the waiversand DFA rules the more confusing they get.
