If you’re like me, I get a little sad when the Ironpigs are on the road. We have the radio broadcast, the Gameday online application and even video if you subscribe to MiLB’s live on-demand service. (It costs like $30 for the season)
What I miss the most are the friends, the folks who stand/sit next to you at every game sharing stories of their lives, of baseball and just a generally good fun time. I had a thought to get a little of this back and with the help of LehighValleyLive.com we have made it happen!
Starting on Thursday, May 5th… We will be hosting a live chat room during Ironpig weekday away games! (Monday through Thursday)

I agree. Twitter is only as good as how many people you follow, and if that’s a lot, it’s that much more to do.

While the chant is clever… the product is less than desirable. Kind of like a dentist sponsoring a chant of “Free-Fill-Ing”

To Kram regarding above comments, I did tweet about the Aldi chant a few days ago but I don’t remember if it was a poke @Ironpigs or not. I’m not in 109 but I’m really REALLY close. My comment was a report on things I hear and not things I do. I think the only thing I ever chanted was a husky “STUTES” whenever he recorded a strikeout. Unfortunately those days may be over.
J.C. Romero pitched a scoreless inning at Lakewood last night so Zagurski may be here for awhile. I assume J.C. will return to the Phillies right around the time Ruiz is ready to start playing again so he’ll get Sardinha’s roster spot and Dane will be back here provided he clears waivers .
