The Ironpigs took the lead early on home runs by Jeff Larish and Brandon Moss Hogg and let the pitchers take over.
Ryan Feierabend was on tonight going 6 innings only allowing 2 hits and no runs striking out 5.
Perez got a hold and Mathieson closed out the game for a 2 inning save.
The Pigs now hold a 33 and 20 record and improve their road record to 17 and 7.
The Pigs will travel to Charlotte tomorrow with a 7:15pm start.
On a side note, word on the street is that Martinez will be offered back to the Nationals when Victorino is activated.

Jeff Larish used to crush the ball at Coca-Cola Park when he was a Mud Hen. In 2011 he has just 1 HR at CCP and 10 on the road.
Regarding Michael Martinez, that’s not the word on my street. I guess we’ll know tomorrow.
David Murphy re-tweeted something that Ruben held a Q&A with WB Mason employees at CBP today and, when asked about the roster move, he said “Gload to the DL with a hip injury.”
Personally I’d like to see Martinez go but perhaps there are two roster moves on the horizon.
SWB Yankees lost to Indianapolis tonight 13-2, and Pawtucket won tonight. Now, the IronPigs are leading the IL North by 4 games and 5 games, respectively.
