The Pigs came out on top for the 2nd game in this 4 game set against the Pawtucket Red Sox by a final score of 4 to 1.
Roy Oswalt made a rehab appearance tonight going 4 innings allowing only 1 hit, a solo HR, walked 2 and struck out 4.
Edell came on to follow up Oswalt and pitched a quality 3.2 innings for the win. Aumont pitched the final 1.1 innings for his first AAA save of the season.
Young and Barfield both had multi-hit games tonight leading the IronPig’s offense. They scored 3 in the 2nd innings thanks to a few walks and then a 4th in the 7th inning.
