Not saying anything other than that.

Gwinnett is losing (as of this post)

Hope the concert goers stayed dry tonight.

From Bacon & Biscuits, I saw that considerations are being made for the Scranton Wilkes Barre Yankees to play their home games at an alternate location in 2012 as their stadium will be renovated next year. One of the locations is Coca Cola Park here in Allentown. Could you imagine baseball every day there?

I’m thinking there might be a college field closer to Moosic, but there is always Bicentennial park… 🙂

Tomorrow will be attending the LV Rollergirls double header. Hope you come out too!

I know you pasted this only 3 times because of space. No runs were allowed until Heilman allowed 4 between the 6th & 7th innings.
Soooo, let’s just take this statement and multiply by 1 million….
Amaro, hello? Do you understand? Aaron Heilman is horrible…
Make the right business decision already. It does not take a baseball executive to figure this one out…

    • Sometimes picking up a veteran ballplayer helps, sometimes it doesn’t. Not to knock Heilman’s ability, but he just doesn’t have it right now and this team can’t afford to wait for him to (maybe) come around.

  2. 1st Inning: Runner thrown out on the bases.
2nd Inning: Runner thrown out on the bases.
3rd Inning: Runner thrown out on the bases.
7th Inning: Runner thrown out on the bases.

It’s a fine line between aggressive base-running and making over aggressive base-running mistakes. While it’s fun watching an aggressive baseball team, you can’t keep running yourself into outs. It’s been happening too often lately.

I get what you’re saying and I agree, when will the Aaron Heilman experiment or nightmare come to an end. He is horrible! No more!!! Heading out to the LVRollergirls myself tomorrow! Can’t wait for this, should be a blast!!

Sorry, the video is 8th of November.

  6. The greatest obstacles to having the SWB Yanks at the Coke are:

    1. The cost of leasing the ballpark. Yankees/Mandalay are pouring almost everything they’ve got into the renovation, so it’s unclear how much that will leave them.

    2. The Yanks’ official soft drink, from the big club down through the system, is, if I’m not mistaken, Pepsi. Not sure how that would work at Coca- Cola Park.

    3. If there is =that= much interest in the NY Metro in the SWB team, you’d have to think the Staten Island ballpark would make a move to host those games.
