Last night I saw a note from our friend Tommy V out in Reading.
The Reading Phillies were in a similiar situation as the IronPigs were.

So like the IronPigs, the R-Phils could clinch their league’s wild card spot with a win on Monday and like the Pigs… they WON!
The R-Phils have made the Eastern League playoffs as the Wildcard team!
You can’t make stuff like this up!

Yeah, I was following both games online. I got so caught up in the fun of it all, that I bought RPhils playoff tickets for Friday night.
No worries. pal; the LHV home games are Wed. and Thu.
Oh, I know. All playoffs all the time my friends! Ironically, I’m sitting in section 209 in Reading… How early should I get there in order to get the free hat?
but then, rain game might get pushed to Friday, and then the dilemma…unless the rphils get pushed forward as well…hmmm….
What a great day for the Phillies organization. Both the IronPigs and R-Phils make the playoffs on the same day. Soon the big boys will be in the playoffs themselves!! Congrats R-Phils and best of luck in the post-season!!!
