Scranton Yankees Still Without A Home

“Both Lehigh Valley president Kurt Landes and Rochester CEO Naomi Silver have said they are open to hosting the Yankees, though Silver said the Red Wings could accommodate Scranton for just half the season.”

@jmand1: SWB Yankees miss their deadline for announcing home site/sites for 2012, so IL tells them to get moving. Literally and figuratively.

Rochester is holding the process up, as they still haven’t finalized a schedule. Everyone else in the division except Pawtucket have.
The way I understand it, the league creates the schedule. If the team releases that info I suppose is up to them.
Rochester’s 2012 schedule is right here.

At the very least I hope the 8 “away” games the Ironpigs have with SWB will be played at Coca-Cola Park and the Ironpigs season ticket holders are given the option to purchase their regular seats for those 8 games.
