dan, wasn’t that from the i.pigs last reg. home game? i remember that play well and was just wowed!!!, if he can just be a consistent hitter i think he will fit nicely at shortstop, i just hope he’s ready,may not have enough at bats triple a, if that’s not the case i wouldn’t mind if we sign jimmy for just 2 more seasons, but don’t think that will happen
Who needs Jimmy Rollins? The Phillies need Jimmy Rollins now more than ever. You can not underestimate the value of leadership and Rollins is clearly the team leader in the clubhouse. If the Phillies thought Freddy Galvis was ready to be their shortstop they would have promoted him in September. The Phillies will re-sign Rollins and Galvis will be the shortstop for the Ironpigs in 2012. Book it.
I agree with Decal on this. Until Galvis is ready J. Roll is important to the Phillies now more than ever. Plus you don’t want to rush Galvis in the same way I believe D. Brown was rushed, and look what happened to him. Re-sign J. Roll!!!
