   The Phillies have a handful of young prospects (Aumont, Valle, etc.) who are not currently on the 40-man roster but will have to be added this year to protect them from the Rule 5 Draft. DFA’ing Moss and Orr and then outrighting them to the Ironpigs after they cleared waivers opens up 2 roster spots. Hopefully Moss & Orr both get re-signed.

   Let’s hope they sign ’em up quick! Their talent and experience were keys to the ‘Pigs successful season this year.
