It’s all over the place and I’m late with it but will post just for the record.
Kevin Frandsen has re-signed with the Phillies and I think it’s possible he’ll be part of the IronPigs next season.
OinK!

Perhaps, but, maybe for some, it just ain’t an IronPigs fact ’til you say so.

Nice! Another Road trip to IronPig land in 2012? π
I’m thinking about it. We’ll have to see if Ron’s up for it. Our options are to head northeast on the Lincoln Highway or southwest on Route 66. I’m trying to decide whether the view from the third-base line at CCP is prettier than a sunset over the Painted Desert. Might have to flip a coin….
I had the feeling on Sunday that Frandsen was returning when he tweeted to Shane Victorino that he would “take care of dinner in Florida during spring training”.
The Arizona Diamondbacks sent 24 year old pitcher Adam Worthington to the Phillies as the player to be named later for Mike Zagurski. Worthington is a 5’9″ right handed relief pitcher who played at the A+ minor league level in 2011. In 62.1 innings pitched he allowed 56 hits, 32 walks and had 69 strikeouts. His record was 4-4 & his ERA was 4.48. He was a 20th round draft pick in 2009. His progression through the minor leagues could place him at Reading for 2012.
