Noticed this morning by Noise Nation member Heather M., the IronPigs appear to have created yet another “Club” for their fans.
This time though, no kids and no ladies.. this one Gentlemen, is for you!
Calling it the “Iron Heads”, the cost is a tidy sum of $30 per member and benefits include:
– IronHeads T-Shirt
– IronHeads Cooler Bag (Wonder if this is allowed in the park?)
– Batting Practice Viewing & Tailgate on August 19th (No mention if game ticket is included here)
– Ball park tour on July 21st
– Group night on August 19th (No mention if game ticket is included here)
For men aged 21 years or older only.
While some may feel this is long overdue we can always look at the Kids Club, Diamond Divas and Silver Pigs as allowing women, children and the elderly to go first. A bit archaic but that’s not a discussion for a sports blog… 🙂
Anyways, I’ll hold my opinion on this. How do you all feel about it? I want to hear your thoughts…

It is about time although in these tough economical and financial times, I think they get enough of my money, hint, hint, I guess you know how I voted. At a time where I may give up my season ticket or sell it depending if they let me get out of my current contract I just don’t see it happening for me. It is intriguing though. Perhaps down the road things may change. But I already belong to a group and it’s calle Noise Nation even if we are unaffliated!

One more thing, with all theses clubs why not just have a booster club???? We all know the reason for that!!
So, the Diamond Divas got a tee shirt & tote bag for their 30 bucks. It’s about the same perks – BTW, we paid for the “group nite” tickets separately from our season tix. The ball park tour was fun, getting to see training areas, locker room, and other “inner sanctum” parts of the park. So guys, if you’re interested, go for it! At the price, at least the shirt & cooler bag will be worth it!
my wife was a Diamond Diva member this past year. The membership included a ticket to the group night for her. Anyone wanteing to attend with her (like me) had to buy a ticket. I am assuming this will be the same for the Iron Heads.
