  1. I hate to say it but what I remember best about Ryan Feierabend was when he had to go out there in a game against Pawtucket and take one for the team in order to try to save an already worn out bullpen. After getting into the 4th inning, Josh Reddick absolutely crushed one over the right field wall. Scott Mathieson felt the wrath of Reddick as well as Josh crushed one off him 2 innings later.

Three years removed from Tommy John surgery, I thought Feierabend looked terrific when they moved him to the bullpen in August.
    5 Games
    9 Innings pitched
    5 Hits Allowed
    2 Walks
    8 Strikeouts
    1/1 Run/Earned Run
    1 Win 0 Losses 1.00 ERA
He also had a 2.00 ERA vs. Left Handed Hitters last year.

    • Yeah, I remember that game too. I remember looking over his 2010 stats (Seattle?) and thinking they weren’t very good. Then, looking closer, and noting that he had a lot of really good outings. And, a couple of horrible ones. He’s gonna have those nights, I guess, and that was one of them. I left right after Jimmy T threw one of the homers back on the field.

Of course, I had him pegged for one of the ‘Pigs 5 starters, but I did recall his time in the ‘pen as well last year. Could he be headed back there if Elarton gets a spot in the ‘Pigs’ rotation?
