  1. Oddly enough, the first thing that comes to mind is a late game double Josh hit in 2009 while playing for Columbus. It was the game when Pedro Martinez pitched for the Ironpigs and gave up a leadoff HR to Michael Brantley and Carlos Carrasco was the starting pitcher for Columbus, just after the big trade that brought Cliff Lee to the Phillies for the first time. Jason Donald & Lou Marson also played for Columbus in that game.
The other thing I remember is the picture posted by the Ironpigs of Josh holding his dad’s jersey when the team visited the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown last year.

Josh is still a free agent so why not bring him back? It adds some depth in case Utley goes down.

    • Wait, doesn’t Utley have to actually play before you can say that he went down? 😉

I’d welcome JB back. My memory is this picture (if I can insert it here) taken in late April of last year. It was when the light went on for me, that 2011 was going to be a good season of baseball at The Coke, watching a team that came to play hard every night.
