Bad news for Dontrelle but possible good news for someone we were expecting to be part of the 2012 Ironpigs bullpen. Jake Diekman, Joe Savery, Raul Valdes, Dave Purcey & Jeremy Horst now appear to be in a battle for the #2 lefty in the Phillies bullpen behind Antonio Bastardo.
Looks like Dontrelle will be signing a minor league deal with the Orioles. If he ends up at Norfolk he could still find his way to Coca-Cola Park in July when the Tides come to town.
