    1. With the Tiki Terrace having been built, where would they allow the canine visitors to — ahem — seek relief? (This compliments of my older brother)
    2. JD, the links to the audio recaps don’t work (presumably the translation of the long URL with all the percent signs is failing at some point) They do work from the WordPress site, tho.

    • 1. Who let the dogs out? There was “relief” going on anywhere but mostly on the Capital BlueCross Lawn.
      2. Not sure what you mean RD. The underlined link should lead to the place where you can listen to the radio broadcast (when a game is live). The audio recap play button should start playing the recap.

Is that the way it is currently working for you?

I was referring to the message as it appears in my Juno e-mail client, to wit:

Click below for the Matt Provence IronPigs Radio Recap of the Game. LHV

Clicking the former (as you said) takes one to the Multimedia page of the Pigs site. The media player applet that appears in the message gets converted to the “LHV” link, in which the “%20” sequences in the URL get converted back to literal spaces, resulting in a 404 not found error.
It’s not your fault, might not even be WordPress’s. I blame it on Juno.

Of course, even this reply above was misformatted.
And in answer to your question, yes.

Aumont in the 9th inning yesterday was just remarkable!! Can anyone hit that amazing curve ball he throws? I doubt it. The only question is how long it will be until the Phillies take him away from us.

  3. Yeah, combine that big curve with the 95mph fastball and it’s quite a combo. Add in the 94mph sinking fastball and he’s deadly. We might be watching one of the next, great closers…

But,he’s still got to work on his accuracy and his mechanics. LoRe and Schuler both wrote about him trying to keep his wind-up “quiet.” Sometimes these taller pitchers (Schwimer has spoken about this in the past as well) have so many moving parts, that things can get “off” sometimes.

He fell behind on those batters a few times yesterday. I think the Phils want to see him come out and be a little more efficient with his pitches. But then, yes, I expect to see him in Philly (probably to stay) by the end of this season.
