I tried to view Schwimer’s Twitter but the account came back as suspended. Hope all is well for Michael and hope that his account hasn’t been hacked and sending out falso info…

Perhaps it’s time that Freddy Galvis comes back to the IronPigs. Kratz could come back too although I did see some notes about Ruiz needing rest for a nagging injury.
Oh, the Pigs beat Indianapolis today on a game broadcast on the MLB network. Perhaps they need National TV to boost their spirits. As usual, I muted the TV and listend to the broadcast of Pigs Radio with Matt Provence.

Hmm, I saw Schwim’s tweet when it came through. Perhaps he’s not supposed to be “breaking news” of transactions. I hope he didn’t get himself in trouble.
Speculation (mine) has, of course, Savery coming back and perhaps a DFA for Sanchez, and a DL for Nix. If Chooch’s hand hurts, now’s not the time to bring Kratz back, although we could sure use the bat, huh? Wonder if Overbeck gets some time at 3B now to make him more versatile–there was some talk of that recently and perhaps why Luna got called up instead of the better-hitting Overbeck.
Kinda surprised not to see an Orr/Fontenot swap. I guess there are 40-man implications there.
Provence is going to be surprised to see all or most of these new/old faces when they arrive in Lou’ville…
Just read Schuler’s Blog; the potential Luna and Valdes move have 40-man implications as well. He speculates (via “I heard it on the internet”) that DeFratus could be moved to the 60-day DL freeing up a spot. Also, the Sanchez move would free a spot, I think. This could be the delay, I suppose, as paperwork is filed with the league to make these moves.
Or else Schwim was hacked or just mistaken…
And moves or no moves, lets hope the ‘Pigs clobber the Bats over the next four days. They’re the worst team in that division (by record) and I hope we can capitalize on the opportunity to get back to our winning ways.
To do that, we might be needing another one of those Cloyd-type starters, huh? The Misch/Cochran thing isn’t exactly working out. Paging Mr. May. Is it time to start the Provence “May Day, May Day” call again? Too soon?
Happily, @mschwimer is back online and just saw a note that hinted at his return to the Pigs.
I think Nix might be heading to the DL and I’ve heard Thome may “have to make a decision” (aka consider hanging ’em up) soon. Don’t know more than anyone else on De Fratus but it sounds like things aren’t going well so 60-day DL wouldn’t surprise me.
