The IronPigs started strong on Sunday straight away in the top of the first. Michael Spidale led off with a single, Kevin Frandsen also singled followed by yet another single by Domonic Brown bringing Erik Kratz to the plate. Kratzie takes only the 5th pitch of the game and rips it over the left field fence for a Grand Salami. “HOLY KRATZ!”

In the 5th the Spidale, Frandsen, Brown show erupted again with back-to-back-to-back singles for Erik Kratz. This time Kratzie was able to bring in one run with a deep fly to left for his 5th (career high) RBI of the day! “HOLY KRATZ!”
LHV would threaten again in the 9th when Kyle Hudson doing his best “Richie T” impersonation, singled, stole 2nd, advanced to 3rd on a wild pitch but was thrown out at home off the bat of Tuffy Gosewisch.
The IronPigs are so short-benched Tuffy Gosewisch played a little left field!
Starting pitcher Tom Cochran went a stellar 5 innings with 1 run on 3 hits, 4 K and 2 BB. Tyson Brummett took the mound and surrendered 1 run on 3 hits, 0 K and 1 BB. Raul Valdes finished out the last two innings strong with a scoreless effort giving up 2 hits, 5K and 1 BB.
