I’ll try to explain when necessary, but these Cheryl Pursell photos are her story and are presented with minimal Kram-verbiage interruption.  They are all courtesy and copyright, Cheryl Pursell:

  1. Ein anderes wichtiges Staatderbyspiel heute Nachmittag … Auf geht’s!

Great results on Friday and Saturday nights, here’s to a successful weekend sweep …

The IronPigs definitely did not get the best jump leaving second base but they have now rounded third and are definitely headed for home. Now is the time to shift it into top gear and leave it all out on the field immediately. There is no tomorrow, next week, next month, next year. There is only the here and now.

If the proverbial throw beats the IronPigs to the plate, so be it. But, if and when that happens, I need that IronPigs runner to ram into that catcher with all the proper speed and force of a Japanese bullet train. Then, IF the catcher hangs onto the ball, it can be honestly said — “That’s great stuff, buddy. But we just couldn’t make it easy for you, of course. Now that we know for sure you feel our pain, we can sincerely say heart-felt congratulations!”

IF the IronPigs are seen to be legitimately hustling, ‘fighting the good fight’ so to speak… any forthcoming result would still leave the IronPigs fan base with plenty to cheer.

    Schoene Bilde, wie immer …
