no he just has to pass through waivers
The Indians likely would hope to outright Tyler Cloyd to Columbus but to do so he must first clear waivers. If someone wants him, the time to grab him is when/if he is placed on waivers by the Indians. That’s how the Tribe got him from the Phillies back on October 2nd.
